243 UTV is a 2012 Polaris Ranger 800 6×6 designed to access areas that are difficult or impossible for traditional fire apparatus to reach. The vehicle carries a pump skid for wildland firefighting operations and can quickly deploy personnel and equipment into remote locations.
The UTV also tows a custom Stokes basket trailer that allows firefighters to safely transport injured patients over rough or off-road terrain, making it a valuable resource for wilderness rescues, special events, and incidents occurring away from paved roadways.
