Forest Grove Volunteer Fire Department will visit Robinson Township Christian School on Friday, October 9, to provide fire prevention education and activities for more than 60 students.
Students will have an opportunity to participate in age-appropriate fire and life safety activities, including the department’s Inflatable Fire Safety House. Forest Grove members will provide demonstrations and discuss important topics designed to help students recognize fire hazards and know what to do during an emergency.
Activities will include:
- Inflatable Fire Safety House
- Fire prevention and safety activities
- Fire department demonstrations
- Opportunities to interact with Forest Grove firefighters
Department members will also spend time with high school students discussing volunteer opportunities, the role of the fire department in the community, and ways young people can become involved in serving their community.
The visit is part of Forest Grove’s ongoing commitment to providing fire prevention education and building strong relationships with local students and families.
